Summary English Translation:
Dr Huang Wei-ping, acting as member of the patient's family:
“ I played an important role “Chunhua”. . She looks after her mother in law in the hospital, who was injured in Sichuan earthquake.
You probably would see some of our acting is somewhat dramatic. But really, let me tell you, I can really feel for those who suffered from the earthquake, I really feel that they do need our help.
In this learning program, some conflicts which are shown during the rehabilitation process are real…
Yes, a lot of things can change our life, but as long as we keep trying and not to give up, life can be different.”
A Patients Mother acted as the earthquake victim, Mrs Chen:
“To me, this is a very good opportunity. I just want to do it. I learned and improved throughout this filming process.”
Dr Lin Guohui, directed the film:
I was also involved in the script writing with other team members. I found It was not easy for the actors to act exactly the way we want to. So I learnt how to guide them to act according to our script. …tell them how to apply appropriate emotion to the content required.
Very good learning experience so I learnt a lot through this filming process. The actors showed professional performance despite they are non professional actors indeed!
Very successful! Thank you all!
Dr.Huang, Head of Rehab Department, acted in a similar role:
"This role is similar to my role in real life. I am very glad to be able to introduce comprehensive rehabilitation concepts to you. At the same time, I am also happy to see my colleagues worked very hard together, really thank you all!
A Real Patient acted as the patient, Jinlong:
“Hello, I am “Jinlong”. I feel happy to be involved in the filming process. It is very meaningful.
I am glad I was able to contribute even it was only a little. However I am contented and have learnt a lot."
